People Development Manager

- Lead the evaluation of current commercial capabilities and design a tailored development roadmap and framework.
- Develop and maintain competency and skill matrices that align with strategic commercial goals and challenges.
- Implement learning and development programs that enhance commercial skills and align with business strategies.
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify development needs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Provide consultancy services to line managers on people capability issues, including development, implementation, and monitoring at all levels.
- Assess the effectiveness of development programs using relevant metrics and provide data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Assist in planning and executing key projects/initiatives focused on developing leadership competencies and organizational capabilities.
- Contribute to the development and reinforcement of organizational culture initiatives.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate and promote L&OD initiatives that support strategic business objectives.
- Lead and manage assigned learning and development projects.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to understand and build organizational capability, shaping and implementing effective people capability strategies.
- Strategically align people capability strategies with business goals to support the achievement of these goals through a focus on people.
- Supervise and mentor the HR L&OD Officer in managing onboarding processes, development facilitation, and administrative tasks.
- Ensure high-quality delivery of orientation, onboarding, and ongoing development programs.
- Monitor and report on the progress of development and enhancement programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a Human Resouces or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in people capability, organizational development, leadership, or talent management, with a proven track record in leading capability development initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of building and maintaining positive relationships at all levels.
- Willingness to take on both strategic and operational responsibilities.
- Approaches work with perspective, flexibility, and positivity.
- Proficient in MS Office and familiar with organizational development interventions, learning tools, and mechanisms.
- Experienced in FMCG or working in MNC companies is beneficial.
