- Develop and plan labor relations activities.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, labor union requirements, and Group/Local HR policies.
- Offer advice, guidance, and professional support to department managers on handling extraordinary employee situations.
- Serve as a neutral and trusted partner for employees.
- Be a reasonable and trusted counterpart in union negotiations to mitigate the risk of labor strikes.
- Stay current and document all labor laws and situations in Thailand.
- Maintain and update the employee handbook and local HR policies.
- Sustain relationships with the Ministry of Labor, Labor Union Committee, and labor union.
- Stay engaged with the labor union committee through regular meetings.
- Oversee the reporting, advising, and management of labor cases.
- Provide training programs on the content of the employee handbook.
- Offer help and support to disabled employees.
- Monitor, review, and update internal rules and regulations to ensure compliance with all laws.
- Facilitate focus group sessions to gather employee feedback and analyze overall employee conditions.
- Collaborate with functional leaders to create action plans for improving employee conditions and follow up on progress, closing implementation gaps to achieve engagement targets.
- Share knowledge with relevant HR functions to ensure alignment in HR initiatives.
- Ensure the appropriate level of security support is provided to each building / site that aligns with customer requirements and global security standard.
- Ensure smooth fraud / security breach case investigations in conjunction with HR (employee relations) and local security coordinator.
- Develop country-level strategic direction for security and coordinate security efforts across the company and functions.
- Review and approve security policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with global guidelines.
- Manage and control the security budget effectively.
- Oversee security surveillance and control across the plants.
- Support investigations into fraud cases and security breaches.
- Develop strategic direction and ensure effective implementation of General Services Management, including transportation, canteen, and cleaning services.
- Review and approve contractor selection guidelines and criteria together with procurement & finance & legal team as per criteria
- Ensure operations of contractors are smoothed across production plants and provide suggestion if needed
- Ensure compliance with permits and licenses, such as food licenses, for operations.
- Fluent in Thai and good command in English.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Labor Law, Political Science, Human Resource Management.
