Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management:
Manage and nurture relationships with existing Tier 1 automotive customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. - New Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the automotive sector, focusing on Tier 1 suppliers. Develop strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the customer base. - Technical Sales Support:
Provide technical expertise to customers, helping them understand the benefits of our products. Work closely with engineering teams to develop customized solutions that meet customer requirements. - Sales Strategy:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust strategies as needed. - Contract Negotiation:
Lead contract negotiations with customers, ensuring favorable terms that align with company objectives. Work with legal and finance teams to finalize agreements. - Project Management:
Coordinate with internal teams, including engineering, production, and logistics, to ensure timely delivery of products and services. Oversee project timelines and budgets. - Customer Presentations:
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to customers, showcasing the value of our products and services. Participate in customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events. - Reporting:
Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market conditions. Present findings to senior management and recommend actions to improve sales performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in managerial level of sales, with a focus on electronic devices or technology solutions for automotive manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of the automotive manufacturing industry and its supply chain.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- English proficiencies and Japanese as an optional.
