Position: Quality Assurance Manager

Salary: 60,000 – 90,000 THB
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to oversee and ensure the quality of automotive parts manufacturing, with a specific focus on metal stamping processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control, process improvement, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control standards and procedures for metal stamping processes.
- Oversee inspections of materials, parts, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality management systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
- Analyze quality performance data and report on trends and issues.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for quality-related problems.
- Train and mentor staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Participate in the evaluation of supplier selection, customer response work, customer complaint quality improvement activities, final judgment of internal quality issues, and lead the improvement of internal quality improvement activities and major quality issues of suppliers.
- Participate in product development processes to ensure quality standards are met from the outset.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest quality control tools, techniques, and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in quality assurance within the automotive industry, with a focus on metal stamping.
- In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures, standards, and regulations. Familiar with ISO 14001, IATF 16949 five manuals, TPM, hardware quality knowledge, and the use of 8D and PDCA tools.
- Familiar with the Poka-yoke principle and proficient in using ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, CQE) is a plus.
