Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD (Computer-Aided Design) Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or a related field, and proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and revise detailed electronic (CAD) working plans, charts, and scale drawings for complex projects from observations, measurements, sketches, and specifications.
Prepare and interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, layouts, and other visual aids.
Perform geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
Prepare detailed working diagrams of machinery and mechanical devices.
Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to complete project plans.
Conduct quality control checks to ensure the accuracy of all designs.
Stay updated with the latest CAD technology and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
Diploma in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years’ experience in drafting or other engineering related position.
General construction knowledge along with ability to read and interpret blueprints required.
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent technical design skills.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
