POSITION: PRODUCTION PLANNER/SCHEDULER

Role Summary:
The Planner / Scheduler is responsible for all aspects of scheduling customer orders with the
Contract Manufacturing partners to ensure satisfactory delivery to our global end-customers.
Responsibilities:
- Take lead in scheduling customer orders on a daily basis to meet their needs.
- Collaborate closely with Order Management, Sales, and Sales Operations teams to grasp customer requirements for booked sales orders, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Partner with Contract Manufacturing partners to align order shipments with scheduled commit dates and customer requests, expediting deliveries as needed.
- Manage material expedite activities with Contract Manufacturing partners and address escalations through Commodity Managers to maintain on-time delivery.
- Monitor on-time delivery performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve 100% on-time delivery.
- Handle customer escalation requests related to order delivery schedules.
- Coordinate on-time delivery for New Product Introduction (NPI) projects with Contract Manufacturing partners, including prototype delivery and adherence to production ramp schedules.
- Collaborate with the Planning team to develop and implement forecasts with Contract Manufacturing partners.
- Ensure Contract Manufacturer partners adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Provide data for Quarterly Business Reviews with Contract Manufacturers to evaluate performance against goals.
- Conduct weekly reviews with Contract Manufacturers to assess performance and drive process improvements where needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain management preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience at a leading communication company.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in English required; Mandarin skills would be advantageous.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
- Proficient in desktop applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
- Ability to work effectively in a global organization and collaborate with remote teams across different time zones.
- Strong team player with excellent organizational and self-motivational skills. • Attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Occasional travel may be required.
