Position: Director of Logistics and Maintenance Manager
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor maintenance schedules for all logistics equipment and vehicles.
Ensure timely and effective repair and maintenance to minimize operational disruptions.
Manage and maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure the safety and reliability of equipment.
Establish and maintain relationships with external service providers and vendors.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms for the company
Track and analyze maintenance performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Prepare regular reports on maintenance activities, costs, and equipment performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Engineering or a related field.
10 years’ experience in management.
Strong knowledge of maintenance processes, equipment, and best practices. (Truck, Heavy machinery)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools.
