Job Title: Supply Chain Operations Manager (Japanese Speaking) / Bangkok (BTS Silom line)

Location: Silom, Bangkok. 

Job Type: Full-Time, Monday-Friday (Actual 8 hours and provide hybrid working) 

Position Overview: The Manager will play a key role in managing and optimizing our procurement processes to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services. This role requires strong expertise in procurement and supply chain management, as well as leadership skills to manage a dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both local and global procurement practices and be able to communicate effectively in both Japanese and English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the procurement team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with key suppliers, both locally and internationally.
  • Monitor market trends and supplier performance to ensure competitiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with the Supply Chain, Production, and Finance teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Oversee the procurement budget and ensure effective cost control.
  • Provide regular reports and insights on procurement activities, challenges, and opportunities to senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading a procurement team.
  • Fluency in Japanese (JLPT N2 or higher) and business-level proficiency in English.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
