Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree of Logistics Supply chain ,Electronics, Electrical Engineering or relate field.
- Minimum 5-10 years experience in Buyer,Purchasing , and procurement from the Automotive industry would be an advantage.
- Fluent communication in English.
Job description
- Responsible for sourcing direct material from overseas suppliers.
- Conduct research to identify new sources, vendor , evaluate current suppliers.
- Devise, implement and oversee procurement strategies to meet cost-saving targets.
- Meeting with a supplier and compare their product specifications with existing parts and price
- Facilitates cross-functional work groups (especially with internal Purchasing function) to select new suppliers using cost-based methods.
- Know your customer's expectations and drive section to meet them.
- Coordinate work with overseas teams, negotiating contracts with global suppliers in coordination with commodity buyers.
- Support project calculation with reliable material cost data, analyze scope of supply and contract agreements, conduct risk analyses, and introduce negotiation recommendations with Management to prepare for negotiations with suppliers.
- Work closely with the Planner team to update the material forecast for tracking, analysis, and managing strategy by direct Line Manager.
