Position: Senior Manager - Logistics [Japanese-speaking]
Business Type: Logistics-Warehouse-Supply Chain-Freight Forwarder.
Location: Chachoengsao
Working hour: Monday – Friday, Alternative Saturday 8.00 A.M. – 17.00 P.M.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily transportation operations to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement strategic transportation plans to optimize the movement of goods, reduce costs, and improve service levels. Analyze transportation data to identify trends, forecast demand, and drive decision-making.
- Oversee the scheduling, routing, and dispatching of transportation resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with third-party carriers, suppliers, and other external partners. Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with service level agreements and regulatory requirements.
- Budget and Cost Control and financial accountability. Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to achieve budgetary targets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including warehouse management, procurement, and customer service, to ensure seamless integration of transportation processes with overall supply chain operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in transportation and logistics management, with a proven track record of leadership and operational excellence.
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Good in Japanese (Any levels) and English
- Has driving license and can drive.
