The Production Planning Manager is responsible for developing and overseeing production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products. This role involves coordinating with various departments, managing inventory, optimizing production capacity, and implementing process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
• Create and maintain production schedules, adjusting as needed.
• Oversee inventory levels and coordinate with procurement.
• Work with departments to ensure seamless production flow.
• Report: purchasing order, packing list to align with production planning
• Ensure raw materials planning and production planning management
• Manage and improve short to long term planning for daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly and yearly production planning.
• Analyze and optimize production capacity.
• Implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
• Track KPIs and prepare performance reports.
• Supervise and guide production planners.
• Other assignment as assigned.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Operations Management, or any related field.
• Experience over 5-7 years of experience in production planning, production control or a similar role from manufacturing industry (semiconductors and electronics business is preferable.)
• Strong analytical, data analysis, initiative and numerical.
• Good problem-solving skill, leadership skill and good time management.
• Proficiency in production planning software, MS office and ERP systems.
• Good communication in English and Korean is the plus.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
