Position: Production Manager
Location:Central Thailand
Salary: 100,000 – 150,000 THB
Job Summary:
The Production Manager will oversee the manufacturing process, ensuring efficient production, adherence to quality standards, and the optimization of resources. This role involves managing production schedules, supervising staff, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning and Scheduling:
Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demands and company goals.
Coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
Monitor production workflows and adjust schedules as necessary to address any delays or issues.
Team Management:
Supervise and lead a team of production supervisors, technicians, and operators.
Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and performance.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure that all products meet the company’s quality standards and specifications.
Implement quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections.
Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
Process Improvement:
Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Utilize lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize production processes.
Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to resolve production issues.
Safety and Compliance:
Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for the production team.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare and present production reports, including metrics on output, efficiency, and quality.
Maintain accurate records of production activities and inventory levels.
Communicate effectively with senior management regarding production status and challenges.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role.
Strong knowledge of production management principles, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficient in using production management software and tools.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in a related field.
Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt).
Experience with SAP systems.
