POSITION: OPERATION MANAGER – Manufacturing

LOCATION: SAMUT PRAKAN
SALARY: 150,000 - 200,000 THB/MONTH - open to discuss
Job Summary: The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the production facility, ensuring that production targets are met, quality standards are maintained, and operational efficiency is optimized. This role requires extensive knowledge in Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) and the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the production facility, including SMT processes, Assembly process and automotive manufacturing.
Ensure production targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
Collaborate with various departments such as engineering, procurement, and logistics to ensure smooth production processes.
Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Lead and manage a team of production staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials.
Prepare and present regular reports on production performance and operational metrics.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the automotive industry.
Strong knowledge of Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) and Assembly processes.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles and experience in implementing process improvement initiatives.
Knowledge of automotive production systems such as Just-in-Time (JIT) and Total Quality Management (TQM).
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve operational efficiency.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
