Position: Front Office Manager (English and Japanese-speaking)
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests in a warm and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints efficiently and effectively, striving to resolve issues to the guest's satisfaction.
- Maintain a strong presence at the front desk, ensuring guest needs are anticipated and met promptly.
- Team management (Front Office: less than 20 people), Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to foster their professional development.
- Create staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak times and special events.
- Implement and maintain front office procedures and standards to optimize efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on front office performance and financial metrics.
- Liaise with other departments, including housekeeping, reservations, and food and beverage, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of guest services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a hotel front office department.
- Good in English (Business level) and Japanese (Any level)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
