Key Responsibilities:
Group-Wide Financial Leadership: Lead financial strategy for all subsidiaries and future business entities, ensuring alignment with the goals of Magick Limited and its growing portfolio.
Global Business Partner: Collaborate with the executive team across multiple countries to align financial plans with business strategy. Provide insights to guide decision-making at a regional and global level.
Strategic Negotiation: Lead negotiations in fundraising, partnerships, and M&A activities, ensuring favorable outcomes for the group.
Financial Strategy & Capital Management: Develop and execute financial plans, focusing on profitability, cash flow management, and risk mitigation.
Mergers & Acquisitions: Manage M&A activities across regions, ensuring smooth integration and financial alignment.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with investors, board members, and business partners through both formal interactions and social settings.
Leadership & Talent Development: Build and lead a high-performing finance team across multiple entities and foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Travel & Integration: Regular travel to various locations (e.g., Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia & Malaysia) is expected to maintain close relationships with local business units and support seamless execution of strategies.
Key Qualifications:
10+ years of senior financial leadership experience, ideally in fast-paced, high-growth environments within the Asia Pacific region.
Demonstrated experience in fundraising, capital markets, M&A, and strategic partnerships.
Business-oriented mindset with a deep understanding of competitive landscapes and market dynamics across multiple countries.
Proven ability to act as both a strategic thinker and hands-on negotiator in complex, high-stakes situations.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with and entertain stakeholders across different cultures.
Professional qualifications (CPA, CFA) or an advanced degree in finance (e.g., MBA) preferred.
