Our client is a pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare company.
The Business Unit Director will lead and manage all operations within the pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare business unit. This role involves strategic planning, overseeing daily operations and ensuring the unit meets its financial and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance profitability and productivity.
Set and manage budgets, including P&L responsibility.
Lead and motivate team members to achieve business and performance goals.
Monitor market trends and competitors to identify opportunities and key issues.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Provide performance data and forecasts to executive management.
Implement change management initiatives as required.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality products or services that meet customer needs
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
At least 15 years of professional experience with 10 years in management or leadership roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical or consumer healthcare industry.
Strong leadership and strategic planning abilities.
Excellent financial acumen and budget management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Advanced problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Proficiency in business intelligence tools and software.
Experience in change management and driving business transformations
Fluent in Thai and English
