Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
Coordinate with department heads to identify staffing needs.
Develop job descriptions and specifications.
Source candidates through various channels (job portals, social media, referrals, etc.).
Conduct interviews and facilitate the selection process.
Oversee onboarding procedures for new hires, including orientation and training.
Employee Relations:
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
Mediate conflicts and facilitate resolution.
Implement disciplinary procedures when necessary, in line with company policies and labor laws.
Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy.
Prepare and file necessary reports related to HR compliance.
Stay updated on changes in labor laws and regulations that may affect the organization.
Performance Management:
Assist in the implementation of performance management systems.
Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance appraisal processes.
Track and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement.
Support managers in setting performance goals and providing feedback to employees.
Employee Engagement and Culture:
Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement.
Organize employee events and activities to foster a positive work culture.
Conduct employee surveys and analyze feedback to identify areas for improvement.
Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
HR Administration:
Maintain HR databases and employee files.
Process payroll and benefits administration.
Handle administrative tasks such as preparing employment contracts, letters, and other HR documents.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human resources management or related field.
Proven experience as an HR Officer or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
Familiarity with employment laws and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
